Andy and I had signed up for three days of training before our two-day summit atempt. Our guide for all five days was Richard Dupont. The first day of training had us head onto the Mer de Glace for a day of glacier training and working with crampons and an ice axe. The weather was great, even a little too warm I guess. The surrounding mountains are classic for climbing and skiing. What a start to our trip!!
